Honeychild is a small, South African producer of honey and provider of beekeeping services. They are based in Rheenendal (Knysna, Western Cape) and are owned by Owen Williams and Meagan Vermaas. Thanks to their dedication and passion for bees, they are the benchmark for many small beekeepers in the area. Owen and Meagan prices and train emerging beekeepers in Conservation Beekeeping. In the second half of 2015, they were involved in organizing a conference about the risk of AFB to this area. Honeychild will act as a bridge between the activities of the project and the local beekeepers, for the organization of information meetings and the collection of samples for analysis.
